Shanghai World Expo Center

The Shanghai World Expo Center is connected to the riverside oasis to the north, the Expo Axis to the east, the Expo Avenue and the core area of the Expo to the south, and the Expo Park and Lupu Bridge to the west. It is one of the permanent venues retained for the Shanghai World Expo. The site covers an area of 6.65 hectares, with a green area of 13,300 square meters, a total construction area of approximately 140,000 square meters, a total building height of 40 meters, and a total of eight levels, including underground Level 1 and above-ground Levels 2-7. The layout of the venue is flexible and can be suitably partitioned according to actual needs. The main types of venues include auditoriums, international conference halls, multi-functional halls, restaurants, malls, as well as an underground garage that can accommodate 550 social vehicles and ground parking areas.

The Expo Center is an important venue for high-level international conferences in Shanghai. It has a grand theater that can accommodate 2,600 people, as well as an international conference hall that can accommodate 600 people; it has a banquet hall that can cater for more than 3,000 people at the same time, as well as a multi-functional hall that can accommodate 5,000 people activities; it also has 64 medium and small meeting rooms that can be used for forums, press conferences, etc. It can undertake various types of activities such as corporate annual meetings, international conferences, fashion events, commercial performances, and large banquets.
