Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center

The Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center is located south of the Huodong River to the south of the Taipinghe North Road, east of the planned north-south road, with a total land area of approximately 685 hectares. The above-ground building area is 160,000 square meters, and the underground building area is 30,000 square meters. The Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center includes an exhibition center of 100,000 square meters, a conference center of 60,000 square meters, and supporting facilities; as of early May 2008, the total construction period of the Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center was three years, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan. The project construction funds are all solved by the Shijiazhuang City Finance Bureau, and it is planned to be invested in three years. The construction of the Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center is considered a major event for the city of Shijiazhuang, and is an important measure to implement the requirement of "taking a big step every year and making a big change in three years". It is considered to be of great significance for improving urban functions, enhancing the city's image, strengthening the city's competitiveness, and increasing the city's influence.
