Hangzhou International Convention Center (New Venue)
The Hangzhou International Convention Center features 8 pavilions and 10 exhibition halls, catering to a variety of needs including trade fairs, events, concerts, etc.
As the first flagship and pioneering major project in the airport-adjacent convention and business district, the Hangzhou International Convention Center is located by the Qiantang River, just 3 kilometers from the airport and 20 kilometers from downtown Hangzhou. It is seamlessly connected to Hangzhou Metro Line 1 and the planned Line 11. The project adopts the design concept of a "sail" on the bank of the Qiantang River, incorporating two representative elements of Hangzhou, the Hangzhou fan and silk. Spanning over 1110 acres with a total construction area of 1.34 million square meters and an investment exceeding 2 billion yuan, the indoor net exhibition area reaches 300,000 square meters. The project is divided into two phases for completion.
The Phase I project of the Hangzhou International Convention Center features 8 pavilions arranged in a fishbone pattern, capable of meeting various needs such as trade fairs, events, annual conferences, concerts, etc.
The 'City Living Room' public space at the central axis integrates essential functions such as commercial, dining, public corridors, venue management, and transportation connections, serving as the project's transportation hub and service center.
As part of Zhejiang Province's '10000 Projects' initiative and a key project in Hangzhou, the Hangzhou International Convention Center is designed according to the standards of a new-generation comprehensive exhibition complex, featuring a mix of functions including conference exhibitions, sports events, high-end hotels, commercial services, green offices, and more, creating a distinctive convention and business public space with unique characteristics.
